Child & Adolescent Therapy

If your child has been diagnosed with a psychological condition, faces developmental challenges, or struggles with behavior or friendships at school, it can be just as overwhelming for you as a parent. Our therapists are here to support both you and your child every step of the way.

Therapy for Children & Adolescents

Growing up can be challenging, and every child and teenager faces their own set of hurdles. Whether it’s navigating school pressures, family dynamics, social media, self-esteem issues, or emotional struggles, therapy offers a safe space for them to express their feelings and develop healthy coping strategies. I work closely with both children and teens, using age-appropriate techniques to foster communication, build emotional resilience, and empower them to handle life’s challenges.

Emotional resilience is one of the most powerful gifts we can give a child. When children and adolescents learn how to understand and manage their emotions early on, they develop the strength to face life’s inevitable challenges without being overwhelmed. Therapy provides a space to explore and express feelings, while also teaching vital skills like self-regulation, problem-solving, and emotional awareness. By building emotional resilience at a young age, children gain the ability to “undisturb” themselves — to find calm in the chaos and approach life with confidence. As they grow, these skills shape their overall well-being, empowering them to navigate school, relationships, and future challenges with a healthy mindset.

Types of Child & Adolescent Therapy

Individual Therapy for Children & Teens
One-on-one sessions designed to help children and adolescents manage anxiety, anger, school-related stress, low self-esteem, or behavioral concerns using CBT and REBT-based approaches.
School Consultation
For children and adolescents, school is frequently an area in which symptoms and impairment are manifested. Consequently, it may be necessary to consult with school personnel to coordinate treatment efforts. This may involve communicating with the school psychologist, administrators, and, where appropriate, individual teachers.

Therapists can help you move toward the life you want.
